When you start creating your simple and unique online personal profile you should consider it that it is the same way when you are creating your attractive resume. The only difference is that you will write it or have to inject it with some short descriptions about you – your job, your business, your status and connections and other things that are significant and momentous to you. A simple but unique personal profile helps attract people to like you, to believe you and to follow you. And you do not need to create it by using erudite language - just use simple English.

 HIT reveals some important good qualities, attitude and characteristics you possessed. Hit is the abbreviation form for the following words that you must consider.
  • Honesty - is all about truthfulness, candidness, admirable, fairness, adherence, decency, allegiance, rectitude, goodness and honor.
  • Integrity - is all about purity, sincerity, modesty, coherence, constancy, credibility, liability, entirety, impartiality and values.
  • Trustworthiness - is all about reliable, believable, veracious, up front, authentic, authoritative, certain, resolute, cogent and decent.
Other people used aka, alias, nickname, allonym (which is a pen name that is borrowed) and pseudonym. It is legal and normal. But for me I would rather use my real name. Under your name, you can include a short motivational piece - it is about something that will hook a reader or a visitor to think - like the sample I used here and if you can avoid - do not use other's photos to be included on your online profile - use your own photos. (The below sample is all about me).

Your bio-data is the details about your education and works history. And they are needed when creating an awesome resume. However, for your online personal profile - you don't need to include all the information about your education achievements and your works history. Only include your last attended education and your present job including your status (married, single, children) and describe them in one paragraph or two. You can also include some great saying, inspiration and your passion though avoid wordiness. Below is a sample that tells about me.
  • My Bio-data: I took up Journalism and short story writing by mail with the ICS (International Correspondence School) PA, USA from 2000 to 2001. I am married with three loving children, all girls – ages: 24, 22 and 21. OFW presently in Riyadh, KSA - working as a Sales Rep/Analyst.
  • Job Descriptions: I manage a showroom for antiques and other home accessories. I sell and entertain customers. I am responsible for the inventory of stocks. I determine the costing and pricing of the products and perform tasks assigned to me from time to time.
  • My Favorite Saying: No one should give up a dream without giving it a chance to come true.
  • My Inspiration: Success in business takes hard work, commitment, leadership and desire.
  • My Passion: Blogging is my passion. I write articles about anything that interests me under the merciless sun.
Your world status and connections must appear on your online profile too. This includes some of your blog sites, those paying sites you are writing with, your other social networks you are connected with and if you're running a business in the Internet include the link of your websites or blog sites. But avoid telling people to buy your products. Only show them the way going to those sites. Avoid referral links instead use your profile page. Below are samples and they are all about me.

In addition - do not upload or include those confidential documents on your online personal profile like your bank code password accounts, your credit card password account, your email password account including explicit materials like nude or naked photos and other materials that do not conform with the Internet safety rules. Also think about that if you created your online personal profile with honesty and professionally - it could be the starting point for employers to contact you and in the future they will hire you.
