Jewel Quest: Internet Game for Writers Too

There are many new things to discover along your journey or while playing Jewel Quest but you must discover them for yourself. Be resourceful, dig deep and your reward will be great. This type of game is also good for writers who are not yet inspired to write. And from playingthe game there are many interesting ideas to knock on their heads.
Jewel Quest was developed and published by Iwin. It was released first for PC on October 29, 2004. For Mobile phone on May 17, 2005 and for Xbox Live Arcade was on March 8, 2006. Jewel Quest has been played for 7,280,397 times so far from the time it was released. This is a puzzle type and can be played by a Single player or Multi-player.
Before a player can play the Jewel Quest, first he has to familiarize the rules, instructions and important details about the game such as:
  • A player should form matches by lining up 3 or more identical relics horizontally or vertically. Then swap two adjacent relics by clicking on both squares or by dragging one relic to the adjacent square. Relic is a part of the body of a saint or venerated person or it is a type of ancient religion object carefully preserved for purposes of veneration or a tangible memorial.
As relics are matched, the board spaces under them turn to gold. A player should turn all spaces to gold to complete the board.
  • Matched relics are removed and new relics will fall from above, filling the empty spaces. Often, this will cause chain reactions and those too will be scored and removed.
Hints are automatically given if no play has been made after a period of time, watch for two relics that quickly animate to see an available move.
  • The more relics that are matched simultaneously, the more points scored per relic. Chain reactions will score even higher. Also, each space turned to gold is worth an additional 50 points.
Complete the level before the timer runs out or else a life will be lost. If the level is completed in time, bonus points are added based on how much time is left.
  • The game begins with five levels. Bonus lives are awarded every 50,000 points. Lives can be lost either by running out of time or in rare cases by having no more moves available. The game ends when all lives are gone.
