If you were one of those recipients to receive gifts on Christmas day and you were advised to choose at least for gifts out of six - which one of the listed gifts you would like to receive this Christmas? And why you will choose them? Before choosing the gifts that you would like to have this Christmas, I would like to share my ideas about them.

House and Lot: Nowadays to own a house and lot is so expensive. The cheapest estimated price of a two bedrooms would worth between 50 to 100 thousand US dollars. So instead of buying the house and lot, you would choose to rent a house on a monthly payment cycle. But because this is Christmas, you can own this house and lot as gift.

Work or Job: We cannot deny that there are millions of people around the world who are unemployed. This is an issue and a problem not only for some particular regions but the whole world is experiencing. So people are calling their governments to take actions and create jobs for their citizens. To get job this Christmas is one of the many wishes of jobless people around the world as gift.

Money: We know that money is one of the most important commodities that people of the world need. Money helps us building our future. We need money to send our children to schools, colleges and universities. We need money for our wants and luxuries in life. We need money for everything and anything that we wanted to have in our lives. Money makes us happy. So this Christmas people wish money as gift to receive.

Food: We know that without food to eat we cannot live longer. And there are millions of children around the world who are malnourished and are dying craving for food. This is one of the most important basic needs that people in this planet wanted to see on their table. Food is the source of strength and energy. So this Christmas people wish food as gift.

Shoes and Clothes: For those who can afford can change their shoes and clothes on a weekly or monthly basis. But for those who have no capacity cannot buy a new one. This Christmas many people belong to this group are hoping to receive new pair of shoes and clothes as gift.

Gadgets: These are small tools or devices that something useful like: mobile phones, iPad, laptop etc. This is one of the six gifts that people wish to receive this Christmas.

The result of the said survey showed that out of the six listed gifts to choose, the first four: house and lot, work, money and food have chosen by people to receive this Christmas. Now if you were one of the people who has given the opportunity to receive gifts this Christmas - which one of the gifts listed above you will choose?

The Funny Side of Easter Eggs Hunting is History

As part of celebration, I also had joined with the thousands of net surfers around the world for Easter eggs hunting. Using my desktop computer, I had visited many websites hoping to find for some Easter eggs but I could not find even one so I decided to stop. Yes. I was about to leave when I spotted a dusty place where a lonely Easter egg was hiding.

I shouted, “At last I found one!” But what surprised me, when I broke its hard outer covering inside the Easter egg; I found two old published articles written by two Triond writers. And in my thought, maybe this will answer to some questions asked by some of Triond users like “What was the first article written by the first Triond member/contributor? Or who was the first Triond contributor who first published his/her article at the site powered by Triond?”

After my thorough investigation, I found the following interesting information such as:

• After the official launching of Triond that took place on March 14, 2006, was followed by registration or signing up of some writers who happened to be the first official contributors for the sites powered by Triond.
• Based on the date of publication of the article entitled “Traveling in The USA” the named “Clearwater” was the first Triond writer who wrote the first article and published it at “Trifter” on May 31, 2006 at 12:00AM. The author was a Esraeli national. He also had written two additional articles entitled: Mardi Grass 2000 published on July 8, 2006 and The Last Train Station published on April 20, 2009.
• The second Triond writer who wrote the article entitled “How to spot an acting scam” was Brock Richardson. His article was published at Quazen on June 28, 2006. That was his first and last published article.

These findings were confirmed by Mr. Udi Oz – one of the founding officers of Triond and Mr. Alistair Briggs whom I considered as one of the most dedicated Triond writers – that Clearwater and Brock Richardson and their articles are already part of Triond history! Thanks to Easter Egg Hunting…
