Janus is already 2013 years old now. And yet still, he is of full energy to start the day, full of hope and so much expectation. He always love to visit us once a year. Yes. Janus has just arrived but with the same attire, the same smiles, the same energy, the same face, the same smell, the same character and attitude. With him are the same joy and happiness, he brought to the world. He is the same Janus I saw for the past twelve years. Nothing has changed about him, only his age.

My family welcome Janus

As recorded on our history, the last twelve years that Janus revisited us fell on different week days. Back in 2012 January 1 was Sunday. On January 1, 2011 it was Saturday. In 2010 January 1 was Friday. On January 1, 2009 was Thursday. In 2008 January 1 was Tuesday. On January 1, 2007 it was Monday. On January 1, 2006 was Sunday. On January 1, 2005 it was Saturday. On January 1, 2004 was Thursday. On January 1, 2003 it was Wednesday. On January 1, 2002 was Tuesday and on January 1, 2001 it was Monday. 

Every one knows that January 1 marks the end of a period of remembrance of the passing year for radio, television and newspapers and other publications. All publications have year-end articles that review the changes during the past year on topics like politics, natural disasters, music, arts, the listing of significant individuals and those who died and born during the past year. Every year, it is the same approach and style. Nothing has changed at all.

However, the world and people should be happy to welcome Janus. Yes. Every year, it is the same cycle of months that give us life and hope. They add the years and time for us to live on this vast planet, to enjoy with the blessings that God has provided to each and every one. Yes. It is boring for others but no one can object it. Life and time are just like that. God bless us all.Happy New Year each and everyone. Happy returns of the month!
