Ban Ki-Moon The Secretary General of The United Nations is Used and Abused by Online Criminals

On August 2, 2014, I received letter from Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon says: Please view the attached letter and contact Dr. PATRICE TEME immediately for your cheque/bank draft amounting to $500,000,000. You are required to contact the above person and furnish him with the following of your information that will be required to avoid any mistakes: Your Full name, Your Country, Contact Address, Telephone Number, Fax Number, Marital Status, Occupation, Sex and Age. Congratulations. I  look forward to hear from you as soon as you confirm your payment making the world a better place.

The whole world knows that Ban Ki-Moon is the eight and current Secretary-General of the United Nations, after succeeding Kofi Annan in 2007. Before becoming Secretary-General, Ban Ki-Moon was a career diplomat in South Korea's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and in the United Nations. Now his name and authority is being used and abused by these hoaxers scamming people around the world. The real Secretary-General of the United Nations Ban Ki-Moon should protect his name and reputation against hoaxers.

He said, "You may not understand why this mail came to you. We have been having a meeting for the past 7 months which just ended few days ago with the secretary to the UNITED NATIONS. This email is to all the people that have been scammed in any part of the world, the UNITED NATIONS in Affiliation with WORLD BANK have agreed to compensate them with the sum of USD $500,000,000."

I believe that FBI is capable to combat online scams and can send Ban Ki-Moon, Dr. Patrice Teme and other people who are involved on this craft to jail if caught and found guilty. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is a governmental agency belonging to the United States Department of Justice that serves as both a federal criminal investigative body and an internal intelligence agency. The FBI's main goal is to protect and defend the United States, to uphold and enforce the criminal laws of the United States and to provide leadership and criminal justice services to federal, state, municipal and international agencies and partners.

The FBI's top investigative priorities are: Protect the United States from terrorist attacks; Protect the United States against foreign intelligence operations and espionage; Protect the United States against cyber-based attacks and high-technology crimes; Combat public corruption at all levels; Protect civil rights; Combat transnational/national criminal organizations and enterprises; Combat major white-collar crime and Combat significant violent crime.

My two-cents advice: Because on-line hoaxers and other scammers are abusively using the Internet to victimize people. To avoid them, online users should not bite their sweet promises. They should not entertain unsolicited emails coming in to their mail boxes.

The Big Bang Theory

The people behind The Big Bang Theory are really genius. Their interpretation about it is really convincing. They applied their rational capacities rather than emotional and it is very engaging one. They applied on scientific approach on how things and events happened.

First I thought that The Big Bang Theory is about the creation of the Universe but I was wrong. This is about a comedy sitcom premiered on CBS on September 24, 2007 created by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady as executive producers along with Steven Molaro. The three were the head writers for this show with seven directors: James Burrows, Mark Cendrowski, Andrew D. Weyman, Ted Wass, Joel Murray, Peter Chakos and Anthony Rich.

The said show was filmed in front of alive audience. According to its running time for every episode is between eighteen to twenty-two minutes without commercials. So far there were about 123 episodes already watched by world-wide audience. And the 124th episode will be aired on January 10, 2013. My Triond Pages Get Wide Global Views

This is my tribute for the following countries – who have contributed views and traffic to my Triond pages for the past 30 days. And to return their favors, this column will feature some trivia about them – this is my way to say thank you for the readers and other surfers from those regions. 

Out of 100% traffic and views my Triond pages received for the past 30 days, 52% came from the United States. Many people around the world considered America as the land of milk and honey. It is the land of many left-handed presidents. It is headed by the newly elected US President Barack Obama. He is the 44th president of the United States of America that started on January 20, 2009 and again by December 17, 2012, he will be officially take oath as the 45th president of the United States after winning the US November 2012 presidential election. He is the pride of both African – American people.

My Triond pages also received 20% traffic and views from the Philippines – my home country. The present president of the Philippines is President Benigno S. Aquino III. He is the 14th president and the son of the former Philippine President Corazon C. Aquino. The Philippineswas controlled by Spain for about 333 years. So it is not amusing to see Filipinos around the world practicing the traditions and cultures of Spain. As our history tells – before Christianity has spread in Philippines – Islam was already active in some part of Mindanaw island. It is 141 years older than Christianity.

Turkey has brought 7% of traffic and views to my Triond pages. The country’s motto: Peace at Home, Peace in the World. Turkey is a Muslim country but not all of the population are Muslims. The country’s official language is Turkish spoken by 85% of the population. The government of Turkey is Parliamentary Republic – it was founded by Mustafa Kermal Ataturk. 70% to 75% of population are Turks, 18% are Kurds and 7% to 12% of population are categorized under others. The country’s president is Abdullah Gul. Turkey’s geographic location is at intersections of Europe and Asia.

The United Kingdom has brought 6% of traffic and views to my Triond pages. Great Britain (GB) is a geographical area consisting of England, Scotland and Wales. To refer to the nationality of the people of Britain or the United Kingdom one has to use the adjective British. English describes people from England and should not be used to describe people from Ireland, Scotland or Wales. One should use Irish to describe people from Ireland, Scottish for the people of Scotland and Welsh for the people of Wales. The present queen is Queen Elizabeth II. Its capital is London.

Canada has brought 5% of traffic and views to my Triond pages for the past 30 days. Canada’s motto: From sea to sea. Canada is a North American country – the second world’s largest country in terms of total area of 3,854,085 sq mi. Its official languages are English and French. Its capital is Ottawa. Canada is a federal state governed as a parliamentary democracy and a constitutional monarchy, with Queen Elizabeth II as its head of state. The country’s population is approximately 33.4 million as of 2011.

India has brought four percent of traffic and views to my Triond pages. India has so many interesting, beautiful and historical places to offer to its people and travellers from around the world. India is the second largest country in terms of its population. But the 7th-largest country by area. It is second to China. The total population recorded on 2010 world census has reached to 1,210,193,422 equals to 17.31% of world’s population. The country’s motto: Truth Alone Triumphs. The official languages of India are Hindi and English. India is the most populous democracy in the world.

HongKong has brought at least 3% of the traffic and views to my Triond pages. The country is known for its expansive skyline and deep natural harbour. It is is one of the most densely populated areas in the world. HongKong’s population is 95 percent ethnic Chinese and 5 percent from other groups. The country had become a colony of the British Empire after the First Opium War in1839–1842. HongKong is one of the world’s leading international financial centers, HongKong has a major capitalist service economy characterised by low taxation and free trade, and the currency, HongKong dollar, is the eighth most traded currency in the world. Its official languages are English and Chinese.

Germany is the 8th country that brought at least 3% of traffic and views to my Triond pages. According to Wikipedia - Germany is a federal, parliamentary, representative democratic republic. The German political system operates under a framework laid out in the 1949 constitutional document known as the Grundgesetz (Basic Law). Germany has the world’s fourth largest economy by nominal GDP and the fifth largest by purchasing power parity. Germany is the second largest exporter and third largest importer of goods. Germany was a founding member of the European Community in 1957, which became the EU in 1993.

You Need a Visa and Proof of Financial Resources to Study in USA

The most commonly used visa for studying in the United States is the F-1 visa. However, under certain circumstances, students come to the US on J-1 and M-1 visas with the proof of sufficient financial resources.

To obtain any of these visas – a person must be in good faith non-immigrant. He must resist the presumption that one seeking to enter the US is an immigrant. The person must establish that he has a residence outside the US and that he has no intention of abandoning.

How does F-1 differ from J-1 and M-1 visas?

F-1 status visa is for one to come to the US as a full-time student. The person must obtain an I-20AB issued by a school or school system authorized by the Immigration Service to sponsor foreign students. Colleges and Universities and other public school systems and private schools are so authorized.

The foreign student must establish that he has sufficient financial resources. He should establish that he has adequate funds to provide for school and living expenses in the US or an affidavit of support known as (form I-134) submitted by a close family relative or other person who is willing and able to provide such support. He must maintain a full course of study which for an undergraduate college or university, usually requires at least 12 credit hours a semester and failure to maintain a full course study is a violation of status – reason to deport him out from the United States.

F-1 students are not permitted to work except certain circumstances. Students can work on campus, engage in an internship or other work study program that is an integral part of the curriculum and obtain employment authorization under certain circumstances including a change in economic circumstances or optional practical training during certain periods before graduation and for one year after graduation.

J-1 status visa also known Exchange Visitor (J-1) Students are admitted to the United States to engage in one of a number of possible activities – one of which is study. J-1 status must be pursuant to a foreign exchange program. J-1 students must maintain a full course of study as the same as F-1 students. A failure to maintain status as a full time student at the authorized school is a violation of status and could be the reason to deport the student out from the US. J-1 foreign students may be authorized to work under certain circumstances example: a possible 18 months of practical or academic training by the responsible officer and up to 36 months for post-doctoral training.

M-1 status visa also known M-1 Student was created to separate from the foreign student category those persons coming for vocational-type training rather than to engage in an academic program. The process and requirements for obtaining M-1 status are similar to those for obtaining F-1 status. He should submit a proof of adequate financial support and evidence to establish that he intends to be a bonafide non-immigrant student.

An M-1 student may not transfer to another school after he has been in the US for six months as an M-1 student unless there is an inability to continue at the school originality admitted for due to circumstances beyond the student control. He is not permitted to be employed in the US except for practical training.
