At Triond I found another interesting way how to market hundreds of my published articles across the net. Through a worksheet where all the information of the articles I have published at Triond are put together as an article page. This column is an example as it holds hundreds of articles to market across the internet. If people have spotted it and attracted to crawl down the page - traffic and views would be flushing in. The mechanic is simple, the main key is my Triond profile page. My profile page has a section that caters all the indexed tags or labels I had used for my articles called tag cloud.

Out of three hundred ninety one (391) articles I have published on that site excluding this one - there are about twenty tags officially indexed and found on my Triond profile page under the tag cloud section. These twenty tags representing the 391 articles published on the different publishing sites powered by Triond.

The twenty labels could possibly be visited and read by surfers and other crawlers - if attracted to crawl down on them. And what is good here is that - these tags or labels are considered as search-able keywords by search engines, other crawlers and spiders across the net.

Out of the 391 published articles - 288 of them are articles tagged under my user name pruelpo. The other 103 content articles I published are labelled under Business, Education, Facebook, Get more, Google, How to, Life, Online writing, Paid to write, People, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Society, Triond, Web marketing, What are, What is, Writing and Writing tips.

Surfers who would likely or accidentally visit my Triond profile page and would crawl down the 20 tags found under my tag cloud section - would also visit and read other articles written by other Trionders. The reason is that - hundreds of Triond writers have also used the same tags or labels I have used for the 103 articles I published on Triond. So, if I marketed this article through social networks, bookmarking sites and to my blog sites - chances of traffic and views would also flush in to other Triond profile pages.

The said three hundred ninety one content articles are officially published on twenty publishing sites powered by Triond namely: AlThingForCars, AuthoSpot, BeyondJane, Bizcovering, Bookstove, Cinemaroll, Computersight, Gomestic, HealthMad, Newsflavor, Musicouch, Notecook, PurpleSlinky, Quazen, Relijournal, Scienceray, Socyberty, Trifter, Webupon and Writinghood.

This way of advertising of my published articles outside Triond is legal and no spamming. And aworksheet is enough to market my published articles across the Internet. And to use my user name as one of the tags or labels for my articles is effective - if some one will search my username pruelpo on search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing - he or she will be redirected to those published articles and other stuff I published on the different publishing sites across the net. Not only that my username can help too to detect who is plagiarizing my works. And whoever visit and crawl down the tag cloud found on my Triond profile page - he will be redirected to all published articles written by me and other hundred Triond writers who have also used the same tags I used.

If your computer is already overload, the tendency – your computer system is low on virtual memory as windows is increasing the size of your virtual memory paging file. During this process, memory request for some applications may be denied. If it happened, you need to tune-up your computer at least once a week. The below screen shots will guide you how to tune-up your computer system.

If you were using Windows XP, there is a tool found on your computer called Tune-up 1-Click Maintenance. It is a software program included on your Windows XP. The tool will work for you for the following jobs namely:

• Analyzing the registry of your computer for invalid references
• Analyzing the programs installed on your computer for missing files
• Analyzing the registry structure of your  computer to identify structural errors
• and do some Searches for temporary files found on your computer that can be safely removed
• 
  

When I started the tuning-up of my computer by using the 1-click maintenance tool – there were three problems found on my computer registry as you see on the above screen shot.

The 1-click maintenance tool has identified and defined what exactly were the three problems found on my computer registry as you see on the above screen shot. 

During the process of tuning-up my computer – the 1-click maintenance tool also found approximately 1MB recoverable temporary files. There were about 221 files equivalent to 1,556 KB as shown on the above screen shot on my computer system. I was given the option whether to delete them or just keep them on my system if found relevant and if not the 1-click maintenance tool will safely remove them without affecting the structure of my computer system. After checking them one by one, I had decided to remove them. 

After I done the tuning-up of my computer by using the Tune-up 1-click maintenance tool, the said problems found on my computer registry were resolved as you see on the above screen shot and also I was able to recover 1MB of space on my computer system. Now my computer opens faster.

Factors Affecting Pricing Decision

If you were a businessman, one of the most difficult jobs that you’re to face is in setting price of your products or services. Here you would have to consider some factors that will influence on your pricing decisions, you would have to set prices using the different cost bases of cost plus pricing formulas, you would have to compute the percentage of mark-up based on the different kinds of costs. But the job is challenging as well as exciting in setting prices for your products.

There are five factors affecting pricing decisions namely:

• Customer Demand
• Competitors Actions
• Market Forces
• Government Regulations
• and Costs

It is said that in all phases of the business operations, the demand for a certain product or service by customers is of utmost importance because a business may cease to exist if it will not serve the need of the society or customer in particular. The reasons why many businessmen have to identify customer demand through:

• market research
• customer surveys
• test-marketing programs
• and take some feedback from sales people

In other words, business owners must provide the products its customers want at a price they perceive to be appropriate. If customers wanted high quality products, it is normal that business owners would have to set high prices for the high quality (HQ) products as well as low prices for the low quality (LQ) products if wanted by customers.

As said our time is on free enterprise and this allow competitors in every field of business. Competitors whether they are domestic or foreigners are striving so hard to sell their products to the same customers. Both would have to design products and set its prices at a competitive position. And because there is competition – both competitors must have to keep a watchful eye on each other’s actions.

There are industries where prices are determined entirely by the Law of Supply and Demand. But as observed more often, this rule of economics is being manipulated by the players – who are these players? They are the businessmen. If the competing firms or business owners who produced all of the same kind of products would adapt the so called cartel – the so called free enterprise will be ignored.

In government regulations – the government interferes with the market forces. There are regulatory boards that can deregulate firms or industries which were previously under the price control law. Business owners are prevented to change their prices without prior approval of the government – and this result in the control of production and operating costs for business owners.

The effect of costs in price setting varies widely among industries and firms. Some business owners produced their goods with a higher fixed cost. High cost of production and operation would mean higher selling prices. Some of them will adapt the absorption cost pricing tocompute the manufacturing costs of the product and used this as the cost base and provides for selling and administrative costs plus the target ROI (Return of Investment) through the mark-up.

Now let’s look how to compute normal pricing and their normal formula. Selling Price = Cost + Mark-up. The mark-up is a certain percent of the base used. However, before you can determine the mark-up for the selling price of your products – first you would have to determine the cost as it is use as the base in computing the mark-up and could be based on the following factors namely:

• Total full cost (manufacturing and operating costs)
• Total manufacturing costs only
• Total variable manufacturing costs only
• Total variable costs (manufacturing, selling and administrative expenses)
• And any other cost incurred by the firm used

As said, mark-up is a certain percent of the base used. The most common basis is the desired rate of return. Of course, there is no rule required as to the amount or percentage of mark-up. It is up to the business owners – they can apply starting from 20 percent, 30 percent, 40 percent and above. What ever rate the business owners will use – it would definitely affect price and ultimately the volume of sales at every given time.

Of course, businessmen (especially retailers) have their own ways how to compute their selling prices of their products. As most of them will target high return of their investments in every given time. So they would have to determine all the expenses incurred to be added to the original costs when they purchased the goods and would apply high mark-up in determining the selling prices of their products before selling them to customers. Who Will Fight For Our Filipino Rights Online Which is a Basic Human Right According to United Nations?

No-one can deny it that Republic Act No. 10175 is already a law. And whoever violates the provisions of the said law will be punished. Does the said law will punish me and stop me to ask the following: (1) Does Philippine RA No. 10175 ignore the United Nations Resolution that says "Freedom of Expression Online is a Basic Human Right?" How powerful is UN Human Rights council to penalize the Philippine government for cutting off their citizens the freedom of expression online which is a basic human right?

This morning I am happy indeed to read the article written by Sen. Miriam Defensor Santiago at Facebook - she is one of the most loved and trusted Philippine Senators, the said article can be accessed on this link entitled: CYBERCRIME LAW IS UNCONSTITUTIONAL.

Internet freedom a basic human right

Republic Act No. 10175 known as Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012, authored by Senator Edgardo Angara and was voted by Thirteen Senators to pass the law namely: Sen. Tito Sotto, Sen. Bong Revilla, Sen. Manny Villar, Sen. Lito Lapid, Sen. Koko Pimentel, Sen. Jinggoy Estrada, Sen. Loren Legarda, Sen. Chiz Escudero, Sen. Ping Lacson, Sen. Gringo Honasan, Sen. Pia Cayetano, Sen. Bongbong Marcos and Sen. Before the RA No. 10175 was signed into law - The United Nations Human Rights council unanimously backed a resolution that would penalize governments who cut off their citizens from the internet and was published online on July 6, 2012 by Lauren O'Neil. There were about Forty-Seven member countries of United Nations who backed that freedom of expression online is a basic human right. It was during the second world war, the declaration of United Nations took placed on January 1, 1942 when the representatives of 26 nations have pledged their supports. And in 1945 another 51 countries signed it and became the original 51 member states. To date there are about 192 member nations of United Nations and one is Philippines started in 1945. United Nations Day is celebrated on 24 October each year.

I quote "Article III of The 1987 Constitution of The Republic of The Philippines BILL OF RIGHTS of Filipino people Section 4 says: No law shall be passed abridging the freedom of speech, of expression, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble and petition the government for redress of grievances." Does Republic Act No. 10175 respect or disregard what is said in Article III of The 1987 Constitution - Bill of Rights of Filipino people? Will the said law RA No. 10175 will send me to jail because I asked that question?

The common phrase which is abusively said "Without love our life is nothing at all" and I believe it - because love heals the pain and agony of our hearts, homes and nations. It is the lubricant that prevents devastating friction in the home, the safeguard of community life and the beam of hope in a world of distress.

During my fifty years living in this planet, I observe and see the result of dishonesty. I even concluded it as one of the many reasons why there is poverty and hardships to people and country. This condition hovers over many lands and there are millions of children around the world who are malnourished, cannot attend school, dying for food and no shelter to house them. Below are ten neglected articles about virtues.

Love is The Lodestar of Life - It springs the beauty that bends across the sky on a stormy days. The security for which children weep. The yearning of youth. The adhesive that binds marriage.

Live with Honesty - In our children dishonesty is also distinct. In school students cheat to get high grades during examinations. This attitude cannot be stopped but we can help to reduce it and it should start at home so that when they grow up they would become responsible, honest and God-fearing citizen. If a person is honest with his words and actions, many people will love him and care for him. Many people will trust him!

Morality Requires Discipline - The challenge to recognize evil and oppose it is one that every moral, virtuous person must accept. It all begins with our own personal virtue. Reformation of the world begins with reformation of us. We cannot hope to influence others in the direction of moral virtues unless we live of virtue. Respect for self is the beginning of cultivating virtue in men and women.

The Root of The Word Civilization - I was about nine year old and was a grade two pupil at that time. I had a classmate who cannot walk as normal as I was. He was our neighbor. His left leg was smaller and shorter than his right leg. Mostly of the time I made fun of him and laughed at him that made him cry. One day, I made some kind of disparaging remark of him without my notice that my mother was standing behind me and did hear me. She called me to get inside the house and quickly proceeded to sitting me down, hitting me with a broom and followed with a lecture.

I always love to learn - When I arrived in Saudi Arabia in 1994, I was first employed as a janitor/laborer. That will be my work position for two years and nine months. The management has noticed my hard work because I was promoted to be a Facility Records Clerk. After sometime I was again promoted to be an Analyst/Bookkeeper and this would be my job for nine years and three months.

To forgive is a sign of spiritual maturity -  I see that forgiveness, mercy and compassion are the essence of goodness. We need these qualities in homes where tiny hills of misunderstanding grow into mountains of argument between husband and wife, parents and children, friends between friends, neighbors between neighbors that sometimes hang on to grievance for years and even for a lifetime.

The Importance of Saving - When my father was still alive, he often told us about the importance of saving. He always reminded us the old saying “The hard works of a person is nothing when he does not know how to save”. When I got married twenty-four years ago, what I learned from my father, I also taught it to my children that includes also about financial planning and budgeting.

Things that we must be grateful - There are many things that we must be grateful – firstly to the Almighty, for the wonders of the human body and the miracle of the human mind and for the universe He created for us. To those people who lived before us who have built the community and nations. To our parents and other family members who have contributed so dramatically to our lives, to friends who have given us the benefit of the doubt again and again.

We need to cultivate positive atttitude - Feeling sad, angry or depressing is not wrong. But dwelling on these thoughts for too long is not healthy either. I know that each of us is impossible to keep ourselves from the negative things around us but we can still carry a positive attitude by focusing on the good things in life.

Faith is an asset - Faith is an asset beyond compare. It is so much more than an apostolic saying. It is a fact of life. It can become the very cradle of purposeful living. With faith we can rise above those negative elements in our lives that constantly pull us down. And with our effort we can develop the capacity to control those desires that lead to degrading and evil actions. With faith we can reach out to those who are discouraged and defeated and we can warm them by the strength and power of our own faith.
